Anthurium 'Crystal Hope'

This aroid is often sought after for its striking foliage rather than its flower. Emerald green, oval leaves are boldly patterned with sparkling white veins. Can be grown semi-epiphytically on wood and chunky branches where the thick white roots cling to it's support creating a dramatically tropical look. This is truly an aristocrat of terrarium plants. Although they are sold as young plants that will work well in most terrariums, they ultimately can reach heights of 12"-18" and be suitable for 20 gallon size tanks and taller.

Cryptanthus

Also known as "Earth Stars", these small terrestrial bromeliads grow almost flat against the ground and resemble starfish. Contrasting foliage provides a nice accent. Very easy to grow in a wide range of environments. Black Mystic currently available.

Calathea - Concinna

Calatheas offer a striking array of colorful or unusual foliage patterns. They are sold in 4" pots, however, they are most appropriate for larger terrariums as the can grow very quickly in warm humid environments. Note: substitutions may be necessary due to seasonal availability.

Jewel Orchid

Ludisia discolor. An easy to grow terrestrial orchid known for its striking foliage. Bright salmon colored veins contrast with dark green, almost black leaves. Likes high humidity and moist conditions. Spikes of white flowers in winter. New lower price!
