The tendrils are realtively short causing the traps to be held upright a short distance from the tip of the leaf. Even the leaves blush a dark burgundy in bright light. A very easy to grow species under both highland and lowland conditions. Highland. Distribution: Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. Available plants are approx. 4" across growing in 3" deep pots.
