Similar to the more common "Sensitive Plant" and related to it, the Telegraph plant has small leaflets that move in response to touch and vibrations. Instead of just collapsing, however, these leaflets twirl, arch and twist for several minutes after stimulation. An easy to grow plant that likes warm, moist, humid conditions. It can grow up to two feet tall but can be pruned smaller. Eventually produces 1" purple flowers. Hard to find and very LIMITED!!! Available plants are growing in 3" deep pots.
