Either they get too large or have light or temperature requirements that are simply out of the range of those available under glass. We finally have an exception! Phalaenopsis orchids are very porpular due to their ease of culture, even on the windowsill. These charming miniatures are no different is that aspect but are perfectly sized for the terrarium as well. Plant diameter reaches 5"-6" across and it prefers low to medium light levels. It does very well when mounted in the terrarium as this provides for good drainage and shows off the thick, fleshy roots as well. Bright fuschia-pink flowers, each about the size of a quarter, are carried on short stems and can last for weeks. Availability is exteremely limited so order early! Note: We will do our best to ship plants in bloom although we cannot guarantee this. Also, those plants shipped in bloom may incur damage to the flower buds and spikes and there is no guarantee against this as well.
