Perhaps the most unique species, the trap opening is located on the side of the pitcher rather than the top. The species gets it's name due to the resemblance to the flowers of the genus Aristolochia, or Dutchman's Pipe. It needs typical highland conditions to do well. A friend of ours grew a fantastic specimin on his patio during the summer here in New England! A very rare and choice species that has proved relatively easy to grow. Available plants are growing in 3" pots and are 2-3" across and approx. 2" tall, most already showing the beginnings of the unique traps! ORDER NOW- THEY WILL NOT LAST!!!!
